Summary
We live in a world where disruption is the new normal. It’s prevalent in most markets today but when it comes to security, it’s truer than perhaps any other ICT vertical. We’re seeing disruption in multiple ways – the move to digitisation, the huge surge in mobility, the growth of the internet of things, a change in the behaviour of the bad guys and a change in the way that Cyber security is now being assessed and procured – along with the people who are involved in those decisions.
Presenter
Geoff has more than 30 years’ experience in the IT industry. Most of that time has been focussed in the public safety and border security vertical. He brings a blend of Customer, Vendor and System Integrator experience and understanding that few can match. He has come to Spark from Cisco Systems where he focussed heavily on the changing role of security as businesses digitise and IOT adoption drives fundamental change in network architecture.
