Summary
As we enter 2021, the security community is preparing for another busy year as cyber attacks continue to escalate. In this talk we will look at the cyber security trends we have seen over 2020 and what we believe is trending for 2021. We will also take a look at some of the bigger attacks from 2020, and talk about how these were carried out – namely the NZX DDOS attack and the new style ransomware attacks we saw on organisations like Toll Group.
