Summary
Penetration testing (“pen-testing”) is at the sharp end of information security in terms of the complexity and technical skills involved, but it is also one of the most understandable and compelling areas of discovery and risk. We take a tour through the “what, why and how” of pen-testing, at a level that will help both technical and non-technical attendees to understand why pen-testing is important and where it might fit into governance and risk management practices of their own organisations.
