Summary

The laws regarding privacy are constantly changing currently around the world. With the introduction of facial recognition, artificial intelligence and machine learning it is critical that privacy is considered when designing solutions. The session will explore some common risks and design strategies for mitigating these risks.

Presenter

Caroline is a privacy and security risk professional with an excess of 10 years of related experience in the private and public sectors including extensive work with clients in the financial sector.

She is an International Association of Privacy Professionals Fellow of Information Privacy and a OneTrust Fellow. Caroline also holds IAPP’s Certified Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certifications.

Caroline specialises in providing privacy and data protection consultancy and is a leading expert in GDPR. She has assisted multiple financial organisations to prepare and develop their GDPR programmes.
